PMP renewal rules in Singapore
There are no Singapore-specific PMI rules. You renew under the same Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) program as every PMP worldwide.

What PMP renewal costs in Singapore
The PMI fee is fixed in US dollars. What changes your total is how you earn the 60 PDUs. Amounts in SGD are approximate.

PMI says renewal fees are subject to membership and regional pricing, and local taxes such as GST may be added at checkout. Check the exact amount in your myPMI dashboard.
Can you use SkillsFuture Credit for PMP renewal?
Only for courses that are listed as SkillsFuture Credit-eligible on MySkillsFuture. Singapore citizens get a S$500 opening credit from age 25, and an extra S$4,000 SkillsFuture Level-Up (mid-career) credit from age 40 for selected courses.
- The PMI renewal fee is not a course, so SkillsFuture Credit can’t pay it.
- Some PMP-related courses have been listed on MySkillsFuture. If you want to use your credit for PDUs, check the course’s MySkillsFuture page before you enrol.
Tax: Course Fees Relief has ended
IRAS discontinued Course Fees Relief from Year of Assessment 2026, so YA 2025 was the last year you could claim it. In April 2026 the Ministry of Finance said there are no plans to reintroduce it.
In practice, PDU courses and the renewal fee you pay for yourself now get no personal income-tax relief.

How to get your employer to pay
Under IRAS rules, course, training and exam fees your employer pays are generally not taxable for you when the training is part of the employer’s training open to staff, even if staff are selected by criteria. They become taxable if they are given as a reward.
How to ask, in 3 steps
- Check your HR or learning portal for training or certification support.
- Send your manager the cost (PMI fee plus PDU course) and how an active PMP helps your role, clients or tenders.
- Keep invoices and completion certificates for reimbursement.
Tip
Ask HR to pay for both the PDU bundle and the PMI renewal fee. That is usually the cheapest route now that Course Fees Relief has ended.

How to renew from Singapore, step by step
- Log in at pmi.org and open CCRS to see your cycle end date and PDU balance.
- Earn PDUs and claim each activity in CCRS. Claim codes fill in the details for you.
- Keep certificates for 18 months after your cycle ends in case of audit.
- Once 60 PDUs are approved, pay US$60 or US$150 by card in myPMI (your bank converts to SGD).
- PMI emails your confirmation, and your digital badge and registry status update.
